English12prepare the frame<strong>Reverb</strong> <strong>Stealth</strong> <strong>User</strong> <strong>Manual</strong>Use isopropyl alcohol and a clean, lint free rag to clean any debris or grease from theinside of the seat tube. Remove any burrs from frame’s seat tube edges then smoothwith 400 grit sandpaper.Apply friction pasteApply a moderate amount of friction paste to the inside of the seat tube and contactsurface of the seatpost. Do not apply grease.WARNING - <strong>Seatpost</strong> SlippageFriction paste is designed to create friction between the contact surfaces toprevent the seatpost from slipping without over-torquing the seat clamp device.Failure to use friction paste could allow your seatpost to slip during use whichcould lead to serious injury and/or death.<strong>Reverb</strong> <strong>Stealth</strong> <strong>User</strong> <strong>Manual</strong>4disconnect the hoseIf installed, use a T25 TORX ® to remove the shifter from the remote assembly.Use a T25 TORX to remove the clamp bolt from the remote assembly, then remove theremote assembly from the handlebar.Hold the hose near the hose barb by hand, then turn the remote assemblycounter-clockwise to unthread the hose barb from the hose.English3prepare the seatpostRemove the saddle clamp bolt(s) and apply grease to the bolt threads.
