La invitación para participar como
invitado editorial llegó en un
momento muy significativo de
mi carrera profesional, ya que en
pocos meses cumpliré veinticinco años
de ser integrante del Grupo PROLAMSA.
Tras decidir que éste sería mi tema, me
di a la tarea de buscar cómo explicarles
(particularmente a nuestro compañeros
más jóvenes quienes han crecido en una
sociedad de alta tecnología y gratificación
instantánea) qué motiva a alguien a no
solamente pasar una gran parte de su
vida laboral en una empresa, sino también
a poner todos los huevos en una misma
canasta al casarse con otro integrante del
equipo y mudarse de país para apoyar en
los planes de crecimiento del grupo. Es
decir, ¿por qué PROLAMSA?
Con auditorías de recertificación del
sistema de gestión de calidad en puerta,
se me ocurrió echar mano a la clásica
herramienta de calidad de los 5 porqués,

llegando a la siguiente conclusión: me
gusta trabajar aquí.
Me gustan los retos, las emociones
fuertes y los riesgos calculados. Nuestro
equipo directivo siempre está buscando
nuevas formas de crecer, mejorar e
innovar. Esto genera un ambiente de
trabajo dinámico y apasionante.
Me gusta la seguridad que me da
trabajar para una empresa honrada, con
palabra, que siempre intenta hacer las
cosas bien. Suena simple, pero es un lujo
que mucha gente no tiene en sus empleos.
Me gusta que hay un nosotros, el saber
que cuento con nuestro equipo de trabajo
en las buenas, las malas y las misiones
imposibles. Sé que me ayudarán cuando
me equivoco, entrarán al quite cuando
me canso y eventualmente celebraremos
juntos las metas alcanzadas.
Nosotros somos el Grupo PROLAMSA y
eso me encanta.
The invitation to participate as editorial
guest curiously coincided with a significant
milestone of my professional career: my
upcoming twenty-fifth anniversary as a
member of the PROLAMSA Group.
Having chosen this as my subject, I dove head
first into the task of finding a way to convey to you
all what motivates someone not only to spend a
substantial part of their professional life in a single
company, but also to put all of their eggs in one
basket by marrying a workmate and later moving
to another country to support the group’s strategic
plans. In other words: why PROLAMSA?
With quality management system audit season
quickly approaching, I decided to use the classic
tool of 5 whys to try to find a root cause, arriving at
the following conclusion: I like working here.
I enjoy challenges, big feelings, and calculated
risks. Our management team is always working to
grow the business, diversify, improve, and innovate.
This creates a dynamic work environment and a
passion for advancement.
I appreciate the security of working for an honest
company that honors its commitments and makes
every effort to do things right. This may sound
quite basic, but soundful sleep is a luxury that not
everyone has.
I like that there is an “us”, knowing that we are
a team during the good times, bad times, and
while executing seemingly impossible missions.
I know that they will help when I make mistakes,
step up when I get tired, and that eventually we
will celebrate together achieving our common and
personal goals.
We are the PROLAMSA Group, and I absolutely
love that.
