The present publication contains information on educational research projects which were in
progress in Finland during 2007-2008. The information was obtained from the Finnish
National Board of Education’s research database KOTU. The publication covers research on
early childhood education, primary and secondary education, higher education and adult
education.
The research descriptions contain only the most important information. Further details on the
projects, including abstracts, are available from the KOTU database which can be accessed
from the FNBE’s homepage www.oph.fi. For more information please contact Pirjo
Lehkonen or Marketta Männikkö at the Finnish National Board of Education.
The publication is bilingual. The projects are in alphabetical order according to the main
researcher. The publication includes a researcher index, as well as Finnish and English
descriptor indices.
