■ Sizing Check<br />
Unit 1 contains a 1 /2" (12.7 mm) clevis pin. Make sure you have<br />
the correct size pin for your boat. <strong>Harken</strong> does not<br />
recommend drilling the chainplate or the integral toggle.<br />
Check to make sure the lower drum assembly will fit inside<br />
the bow pulpit. If there is an anchor locker, check to see if the<br />
drum assembly will clear. If necessary, use a toggle or link<br />
plates to raise the unit. See page 8.<br />
■ Threaded Headstay Stud<br />
Order a <strong>Harken</strong> threaded stud to match headstay wire or rod size.<br />
■ Dyform ® Wire<br />
The maximum Dyform wire size for the Unit 1 is 9 /32" (7 mm).<br />
Dyform requires special terminals. Use Norseman ® or Sta-Lok ®<br />
stud with special Dyform wedge.<br />
