Functions common to F11N and F13N
Clamping the cable.
The specially designed shape of the jaws enables large crosssection
conductors to be enclosed, and satisfies the majority
of high current applications.
A 2 busbars 50 x 5 mm
B 2 cables Æ 25 mm
C 1 cable Æ 42 mm
Reminder : The clamp must only enclose a single phase
conductor, which can be physically subdivided into 2 smaller
sections. In principle, the clamp cannot measure current in a
conductor that includes the phase cable and the neutral cable.
1 Jaws
They enclose the cable to measure AC CURRENTS.
The jaws are designed with an "anti-pinch" system.
The red colour was chosen to identify the zone which is
potentially dangerous during measurement of AC currents.
2 Guard
The non-slip guard protects the user from accidental contact
with an uninsulated conductor when clamping a cable.
3 Trigger
To open the jaws.
4 MAX button
To activate the max value function on A and on V and for the
diode test function.
Typical acquisition time: < 500 ms (except for calibre change).
NB : This button is inoperative on frequency and resistance
measurement.
5 HOLD buttons
Cette fonction permet de mesurer dans un environnement
difficile, ou peu éclairé, en mémorisant la valeur pour une
lecture différée.
Cette fonction est active pour toutes les positions du commutateur
6 .
It is activated by pressing one of the two keys 5 and released
by pressing one of these two keys again (two-way switch
system).
