As evening fell two car bombs exploded
near a Shiite mosque in central
Baghdad, killi?g 17people and wounding
45, the pohce sald. .
The rampage in the western Jlh~d
neighborhood was in apparent retahation
for the car bombing on Saturday
night of another Shiite mosque ~hat
killed two peopl~ and wound.ed mne,
