This all begins with our commitment toquality language classes and the establishment of Englishcommunication skills as a core priority in the curriculum atECE, where we fully understand that speaking a languagethat is understood by decision makers is critical for businesssuccess in today’s world. By favoring small classes and providinginstruction and practice in oral and written Englishcommunication using business-related topics as its contentbase, ECE encourages its students to participate actively insituations they are sure to encounter in their future businesslives. Brainstorming, creating, discussing, presenting andnegociating issues from textbooks, case studies, video, currentbusiness journal and newspaper articles all constitutea main emphasis in our classrooms. Through such a casemethod, our students are exposed to real-life situations thatare relevant, intellectually engaging and highly interactive. This creates a challenging learning environment that encourageseveryone to share opinions and perspectives and learnfrom each other.
