SummarySUMMARYThe surgery of meningioma is among the most suppliersurgeries of preoperative bleeding. The purpose of this work is todetermine predicting factors of blood transfusion during the surgeryof intracranial meningioma.It is a prospective study including 100 patients operated for ofintracranial meningioma between 2002 and 2004 in HospitalUniversity Center Ibnou Rochd.The possible predictive factors were: the age, the antecedent,the preoperative state, the characteristics of the tumor (dimension,seat, critical localization and the existence of peritumor œdema), thepreoperative and preoperative hemoglobin, the preoperativetreatment (anti-convulsants, corticoïdes, the radiotherapy andderivation of the Cephalo-Rachidien-liquid), the delay betweendiagnostic and symptoms, the type of surgery (total, partial orbiopsy), the intervention length, and the amount of transfusion.The blood losses have been evaluated by the surgicalaspiration and the repeated measures of hematocrit and hemoglobin.-74-
