TAPIS ROUGE POUR VALEURS VERTES
Une éthique environnementale qui ne
cesse de s’enraciner de plus en plus
profondément au cœur de l’hôtel et
de son mode de fonctionnement. Un
engagement concret qui se traduit par
une réduction de sa consommation
énergétique, par une sensibilisation
de la clientèle à ces questions et par
l’adoption de nouvelles pratiques,
de l’hébergement à la restauration…
Depuis 2007, l’InterContinental
Paris-Le Grand a respecté un code
de bonne conduite, qui vient de lui
permettre tout récemment, en mai
dernier, de récolter les lauriers de sa
politique verte. L’hôtel s’est en effet vu
décerner la certification Green Globe,
saluant son haut degré de mobilisation en
faveur de la préservation de la planète.
La reconnaissance d’une action que
l’InterContinental Paris-Le Grand a encore
étoffée en accueillant entre ses murs
certains des participants de la COP 21,
la conférence mondiale de l’ONU sur les
changements climatiques.

Environmental ethics are continuing to
take ever-deeper root at the heart of the
hotel and its everyday functioning. This
concrete commitment shines through
in the establishment’s reduced energy
consumption, efforts to increase guest
environmental awareness and the
adoption of new habits from rooms to
restaurant… The InterContinental Paris
Le Grand has been working to this green
code of good conduct since 2007 –
an undertaking fittingly rewarded this
May when the hotel carried off the
‘Green Globe’ distinction in tribute to
its very active efforts to preserve the
planet. And the InterContinental Paris
Le Grand isn’t stopping there. The hotel
is upping its efforts even more this year
by welcoming various guests attending
the United Nations Climate Change
Conference, the COP 21.
