Ice Age:
The Meltdown
Manny the woolly mammoth, Sid
the sloth, Diego the saber-toothed
tiger and Scrat, the prehistoric
squirrel/rat return for another
adventure, seeking higher ground.
Manny, Sid and Diego are living in a large
valley surrounded on all sides by an enormously
high ice wall. Fear strikes when
they learn the wall is holding back a large
body of water that threatens to flood their
home. When a vulture tells them of a boat
across the valley that could save them, the
friends set off to find it – but they only
have three days to do it. This highly
enjoyable film is full of witty dialogue and
a central theme of friendship despite
differences, and loyalty despite danger.
