It will be an unforgettable show, to be enjoyed with the
family, with parents, grand-parents, friends and indeed
anybody who has managed to keep hold of a small part
of their inner child.

The special “New Year’s Eve” show on 31st December
promises to be exceptional and holds many surprises in
store: after having celebrated the clock chiming midnight
with you, the artists will put on a wonderful firework
display!
European Circus Festival
Parc d’Avroy
From 14 th December 2017 to 7 th January 2018
The 27th European Circus Festival will take place in the
Parc d’Avroy park in Liège from 14th December 2017 to
7th January 2018.
This year, the tale of “Beauty and the Beast” will bring
together in the ring more than 40 artists and extras! The
various performers will be representing the best international
attractions from traditional circuses and come
from 14 countries: Russia, Romania, Hungary, France,
Germany, Italy and Spain to name but a few… They will
be gracing the ring with their spectacular disciplines for
a truly magical show! Clowns, acrobats, jugglers, tightrope
walkers, trapeze artists and many other surprises
will be performed in the spotlight to provide spectators
with the most fabulous of spectacles! What’s more, Arabian
horses, African buffalos and lamas will delight children
and adults alike.

At what is one of the most prestigious circus festivals in
the world, as is customary, the spectators will also be
the jury: before leaving, each spectator can vote for their
favourite act, by placing their ballot paper in the urn. On
7th January, at the end of the show at 17.30 and in the
presence of many dignitaries, the winners will receive
the gold, silver or bronze stars.
