Caritas Nigeria National Director,
Rev. Fr. Evaristus Bassey,
while addressing the press noted
“some of the issues like conflicts,
insecurity, economic hardship
and instability which have been
identified as part of the root
causes of migration, can be
addressed by good governance.
Caritas Nigeria therefore, calls on
relevant government agencies
and bodies to seek appropriate
measures in addressing these
root causes that drive increased
displacement of persons, as well
as supporting those who have
been displaced from their homes
to recover their sources of
livelihoods”.
