Quand y aller? / When to go?
La région Melaky est caractérisée par un climat
tropical sec avec deux saisons distinctes : une saison
chaude et pluvieuse entre le mois de novembre et le
mois d’avril et une saison sèche de mai à octobre. La
période la plus propice pour visiter le parc s’étend de
juin à novembre.
The region of Melaky is characterised by a tropical dry
climate with two distinct seasons: a hot wet season
between November and April, then a dry season from
May to October. The best period for visiting the park
is between June and November.
Comment s’y rendre? / How to get there?
Cette destination est accessible via Morondava ou
Tsiroanomandidy. Prenez un vol de la Compagnie
Air Madagascar/ Tsaradia pour Morondava, il vous
faudra ensuite passer par Belo sur Tsiribihina. L’entrée
sud du parc se trouve à Bekopaka, après 200km de
piste. Vous pouvez également atteindre Bekopaka
depuis Antsalova.
The destination can be reached via Morondava or
Tsiroanomandidy. Take an Air Madagascar/ Tsaradia
flight to Morondava, then you will need to travel to
Belo sur Tsiribihina. The south entrance to the park is
at Bekopaka, along 200km of untarred track. You can
also get to Bekopaka from Antsalova.
Où se loger? / Where to stay?
Séjournez à l’Hôtel L’Olympe de Bemaraha situé
à l’entrée des Tsingy ou bien Au Soleil des Tsingy
Lodge, situé au cœur du massif des Tsingy. Les deux
établissements se trouvent à Bekopaka.
You can stay at the L’Olympe hotel in Bemaraha,
situated at the entrance to the Tsingy or at the Au Soleil
des Tsingy Lodge, at the heart of the Tsingy massif.
Both hotels are in Bekopaka.
Où manger? / Where to eat?
Le restaurant de L’Olympe de Bemaraha, situé sur le
promontoire de la colline, propose une cuisine variée :
européenne, malagasy, créole et chinoise ainsi que
des spécialités de fruits de mer de la côte Ouest.
The restaurant of the L’Olympe hotel in Bemaraha,
situated on the promontory of the hill, serves varied
types of food: European, Malagasy, Creole and
Chinese, as well as seafood specialities from the west
coast.
Que voir? / What to see?
Admirez le beau paysage de la région en visitant la
gorge du fleuve Manambolo en pirogue. Les Tsingy,
comme le fleuve, sont considérés sacrés par la
population locale, elle y organise fréquemment des
rituels. Lors de votre passage, ne manquez pas de
vivre l’expérience du fameux pont suspendu.
You can admire the stunning scenery of the region,
canoeing down the Manambolo river canyon. The local
population considers the Tsingy, like the river, to be
sacred and often organises rituals there. During your
trip, make sure you visit the famous suspension bridge.
