« Ayant été directrice artistique et créatrice de ma propre marque, l’expérience
vécue auprès des élèves de 4ème année à ESMOD PARIS en vue de la
certification équivalent à un master 1, puis 2 l’année suivante, a été riche
et positive.
Il m’a été donné de transmettre de façon personnelle un programme en
tenant compte de tous les aspects nécessaires à l’entrée d’un futur designer
ou créateur d’une marque dans la vie professionnelle:
- Le management d’une équipe de création du début jusqu’aux livrables.
- Les aspects liés à la commercialisation tant en Europe qu’à l’export
- La mise en oeuvre d’un business plan et les arcanes des divers financements.
Les élèves ont eu la chance d’être confrontés à des intervenants dans les
domaines du juridique (comment protéger sa marque ou ses créations ),
des bureaux d’achat, des salons professionnels, toute chose indispensable
à la bonne connaissance du monde de la mode et de son évolution actuelle.
Je suis pour ma part admirative de la qualité de l’enseignement et de l’originalité
de ce cursus novateur et j’aurais moi-même adoré y avoir accès,
cela m’aurait permis de gagner un temps précieux dans le développement
de mon business ! »
«Having been artistic director and creator of my own label, the experience
with 4th year students of ESMOD PARIS for the certification equivalent to
a Master 1 (A Levels + 1 year of higher education), followed by a Master 2
(A Levels + 2 years of higher education) the next year, has been rich and
positive.
I was tasked with personally tailoring a program, taking into account all
the aspects necessary for a future designer or creator of a label to embark
on their professional life:
- The management of a creative team from the beginning to the deliverables.
- The aspects related to the marketing both in Europe and for export
- The implementation of a business plan and the mysteries of the various
sources of financing.
Students were given the chance to come face to face with players in the
legal field (how to protect their brand or their creations), buying offices,
trade shows, everything essential for a good knowledge of the world of
fashion and its current development.
Personally, I am full of admiration for the quality of the teaching and the
originality of this innovative course and I would have loved to have had
access to it; this would have saved me valuable time in developing my business!
