EDITO SEPTEMBRE 2022 – PAR RADIA AMARUNE RENTRÉE EN DOUCEURA SMOOTH RETURNEnfin les températures caniculaires que nousavons connues en juillet et en août laissent placeà une météo moins agressive, propice à l’étéindien que nous affectionnons tant sur notreexquise Riviera. Souhaitons que cette arrièresaisonoffrira enfin un repos bien mérité à nosmerveilleux soldats du feu, à qui toute l’équipede Riviera Sélections tient à rendre hommage.À l’heure où nos enfants remplissent à nouveauleur cartable, nos étudiants reprennent le chemindes universités et nos ordinateurs et téléphonesretrouvent leur cadence infernale, n’oublions pasde prendre le temps de profiter de ces quelquessemaines si particulières où, après l’école et letravail, nous pouvons encore aller « piquer unetête » avant le dîner et où les week-ends sontpropices à la découverte de belles tables en pleinair ou sur nos plages – pour la plupart ouvertesjusqu’en octobre. En outre, durant cette périodede transition entre deux saisons, notre bellerégion regorge d’événements prestigieux pourde délicieux week-ends de septembre : leCannes Yachting Festival du 6 au 11, les RégatesRoyales en Baie de Cannes du 18 au 24, ouencore Les Étoiles de Mougins - rendez-vousincontournable pour tous les gourmets et lesgourmands - qui investiront le cœur du villageles 17 et 18 septembre. D’ailleurs, retrouvezsans attendre notre sélection d’idées sorties etshopping au sein de notre rubrique Lifestyle,laquelle, nous l’espérons, saura vous mettrel’eau à la bouche.Finally, the scorching temperatures that we experiencedin July and August give way to less aggressive weather,conducive to the Indian summer we love so much onour exquisite Riviera. We hope that this late seasonwill finally offer a well-deserved rest to our wonderfulfirefighters, to whom the entire Riviera Sélections teamwould like to pay tribute.At a time when our children are once again filling theirschoolbags, our students are heading back to universitiesand our computers and telephones are back at theirinfernal pace, let’s take advantage of these few specialweeks when, after school and work, we can still go for aswim before dinner while the weekends are conduciveto discovering beautiful tables in the open air or on ourbeaches—most of them open until October. In addition,during this period of transition between two seasons,our beautiful region is packed with prestigious events fordelicious weekends in September: the Cannes YachtingFestival from 6 to 11, the Régates Royales en Baie deCannes from 18 to 24, or even Les Étoiles de Mougins—an unmissable event for all gourmets and gourmands—which will take over the heart of the village on 17 and18 September.
