impegnato in battaglie ecologiste, Lewis Welch è<br />
scomparso misteriosamente nel 1972, dopo essersi<br />
allontanato per uno dei suoi frequenti eremitaggi<br />
nella natura. Il breve testo del 1964 compare in<br />
forma autografa, introdotto dal disegno di un<br />

Lewis Welch was born in 1926 in Arizona and has been study mate of<br />
Gary Snyder. He was into Zen philosophy and the fights for the<br />
environmental causes but mysteriously disappeared in 1972 after<br />
retiring to one of his frequent hermitages into nature. The brief<br />
autographed 1964 text above, introduced by a circles drawing, appears<br />
into the Semina Culture catalog (2005).
