No Armonia
2007 - Installazione, magneti e fili d’acciaio
L’unione tra due magneti è negata dai sottili fili d’acciaio che li
tengono ancorati al muro e la forza d’attrazione è tale da mantenere
le due calamite sospese nell’aria.
Questo stato di armonia negata genera l’immagine contraddittoria
di un Quasi Uno in contrasto con la presenza ossessiva
della cifra Due.
Il confine tra i due magneti diventa un Luogo ibrido e perciò
anomalo, entro cui accade tutto.
No Harmony
2007 - Installation, Magnets and steel wires
The union of two magnets is denied by thin steel wires anchored
to the wall. The attraction is strong enough to keep these two
magnets suspended in the air.
This unattainable state of harmony produces the contradictory
image of an Almost One in contrast with the perpetual presence
of the digit Two.
The boundary between the magnets becomes a hybrid Place,
and therefore anomalous, within which everything happens.
