Das Dorf Welschnofen (1182 m) und die
Feriensiedlung Karersee (1600 m) liegen,
umgeben von Almwiesen und Hochwäldern
direkt unter dem magischen Rosengarten,
dem Königreich der Sagengestalten. Kein
Wunder, dass zahlreiche Könige, Elfen und
Prinzessinnen dieses Gebiet bevölkern,
denn die Landschaft zwischen Rosengarten,
Latemar und Karersee ist magisch. Ganz
besonders in der Dämmerung, wenn die
untergehende Sonne die bleichen Felswände
in flackernde Flammen verwandelt. Die Bergund
Sportbegeisterten erwarten 116 km
Wanderwege, zahlreiche Klettersteige sowie
Kletter- und Mountainbiketouren. Das gut
ausgebaute Busnetz, die mietbaren Elektrofahrräder
und Aufstiegsanlagen machen
erholsamen sanft-mobilen Urlaub möglich.
Einer der höchstgelegenen Golfplätze Europas
liegt direkt unterm Rosengarten. Ein beheiztes
Freischwimmbad sowie Wassertreten
in der freien Natur bieten Wasserspaß mitten
in den Bergen. Und natürlich verführen die
familiär geführten Hotels und Restaurants zu
allerlei kulinarischen Köstlichkeiten, die hier
oben auf 1182 bis 2337 Metern besonders
herzhaft schmecken.

avvolte da un'unica area naturale ai piedi
di Catinaccio e Latemar, estesa dai 1182 m
ai 1600 m. Il lago di Carezza è uno dei
più famosi dell’intero arco alpino a causa
dell’acqua verde e limpida, nella quale si
riflette lo splendido panorama del Catinaccio
e del Latemar, che al tramonto si accendono
come per magia di un rosso intenso. Su
queste cime 116 km di sentieri, numerose vie
ferrate e alpine e favolosi trails per mountain
bike aspettano gli sportivi e appassionati di
montagna. Inoltre a Carezza si trova uno dei
campi da golf più alti d’Europa. Una piscina
riscaldata all'aperto e un percorso Kneipp
offrono divertimento acquatico in mezzo
alla natura incontaminata. L’ottima rete di
autobus pubblici, gli impianti di risalita e le
biciclette elettriche permettono di trascorrere
una vacanza rilassante ed ecosostenibile.
E negli alberghi e ristoranti i centri wellness e
le specialità gastronomiche contribuiscono a
rendere il soggiorno indimenticabile.
The mountain villages Nova Levante (1,182m)

hues of pink and red, visitors to this region
between the Rosengarten and Latemar

elves and princesses call it home. Outdoor
enthusiasts can enjoy 116km of walking
trails, fixed-cable climbing routes and guided
mountain bike rides, while the excellent bus
network and electric bikes mean getting out
and about doesn’t have to be hard work.
Golfers shouldn’t miss out on the 18-hole
course at the Carezza Lake Golf Club, one
of the highest in Europe. Back down in the
valley, kids and adults alike can slip, slide and
swim in the heart of the mountains at the
heated outdoor pool. If you are hungry for
a taste of the mountains after all that aqua
action then the gastronomic delights served
between 1,182m and 2,337m give a whole
new meaning to the term ‘haute cuisine’!
