Che cos’è un eluvio <br />
Eluvio<br />
Insieme di particelle da fini a<br />
grossolane, prodotte dal disfacimento<br />
delle rocce ad opera degli agenti<br />
atmosferici, che si sono accumulate in<br />
posto.<br />
A lato formazione di un materiale eluviale grossolano<br />
(breccia di degradazione).<br />
B: frammenti angolosi sciolti (non cementati) liberati<br />
dalla roccia madre.<br />
C, D, E: stadi successivi di cementazione del detr<strong>it</strong>o, da<br />
una patina iniziale che ricopre i frammenti (C)<br />
all’occlusione completa degli interstizi (E).<br />
