Remarks: According to HARTMAN (1959), Nectochaeta caroli Fauvel, 1914 a might be<br />

identical with D. pelagica. Both are probably larvae <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> genus Lepidas<strong>the</strong>nia Malmgren, 1867.<br />

The validity <strong>of</strong> this taxon is <strong>the</strong>refore uncertain.<br />
