versions of the wonderful product: Vita Power and Vita Suede.
Vita Power is stronger than the original fabric, featuring a greater
weight, pleasant feel, compact structure and breathability, with
elevated elasticity and smart shape memory. Comfort and fit are
its main selling points. Just like Vita, it does not tend to exhibit
pilling and stands up well to abrasions, while protecting from
harmful UV radiation (UPF 50+). It also ensures proper muscular
compression, significantly slowing down the formation of lactic
acid, managing all of this without in any way compromising
freedom of movement. In other words, this remarkable fabric
represents a very attractive candidate when it comes to producing
sporty garments capable of guaranteeing outstanding
performance properties.
Vita Suede, on the other hand, is an opaque fabric, the brushed
version of Vita Power, regarding which it is able to boast the same
performance features, but with the added allure of a warm feel
created by the velvety suede effect: ideal for garments that are
both comfortable and fashionable.
On the market now for years, the Renew family of recycled fabrics
by Jersey Lomellina takes the top position when it comes
to characteristics, performance and sales. In addition to Renew
For years Carvico and Jersey Lomellina have been distinguishing
themselves for their cutting-edge environmental policies,
based on a sustainable manufacturing chain, in keeping
with the circular economic model of the future. As a matter
of fact, these two Bergamo manufacturers have undertaken
to completely eliminate or, at least, drastically limit the use of
harmful chemical substances, to improve the energy efficiency
of the manufacturing processes – a commitment including major
investments in innovation and research – to publishing their
certified environmental data, and creating company, all with an
overarching concern for the health and human rights of both
their employees and the consuming public.
Carvico and Jersey Lomellina are also participating in an important
international project: Healthy Seas - a Journey from Waste
to Wear, created in order to safeguard the seas – in particular
the North Sea, the Adriatic and the Mediterranean – in an effort
to eliminate abandoned fishing nets on the bottom of the sea,
gear that is responsible for causing serious damage to marine
eco-systems. Thanks to this very worthwhile project, the nylon
net material is salvaged and transformed into environmentallyfriendly
fabrics, with the goal of promoting a sustainable approach
to fashion in Italy.
Tangible examples of the positive results achieved by this effort
are the Vita Power, Vita Suede and Style Peach fabrics, all made
from 100% recycled fibers, the fruit of a collaborative agreement
which has been made with the companies that produce them
(like Aquafil with Econyl ® , the 100% recycled polyamide fiber).
Vita by Carvico was crated three years ago, quickly establishing
itself as the company’s most important fabric. It’s fiber content is
composed, to the tune of 78%, primarily of Polyamide Econyl ® ,
which displays great versatility, strength, fineness, elegance,
elasticity and softness. The big news this season are the two new

22% EA - 225 g/m2 - 150 cm.
Prime, Cult and Style one now also finds Style Peach.
Style Peach is also the product of the recycled Econyl ® polyamide,
guaranteeing all the technical properties of a high-performance
athletic fabric. It is ideal for creating breathable and very comfortable
running T-shirts, but may also be used for applications in
the athleisure field, thanks to its distinctive peach-fuzz texture,
warm and comfortable.
