She’s an artist who loves sculpture, born in an upper<br />
class family in Pisa. Her cultural background is linked<br />
to psychology and foreign languages even if she<br />
then chose to work in a sector which fulfilled her, her aesthetic<br />
interests, her creativity and love of travelling. A sophisticated<br />
woman, educated and with a great personality,<br />
Giuliana Michelotti collaborated for years as creative consultant<br />
with famous fashion and jewellery brands amongst<br />
which: Anne Klein, Swarovsky, Gianfranco Ferré, Genny,<br />
Valentino, Versace, Dolce & Gabbana, Lacroix.<br />
But it was in 1995 when she launched GMCOLLECTIONS,<br />
her jewellery-sculptures line. On her various business trips<br />
as consultant in Asia and Africa she was able to learn an ancient<br />
technique of silver workmanship. She then personally<br />
re-elaborated and interpreted this technique giving way<br />
to a unique and exclusive practice for the workmanship of<br />

un’artista che ama la scultura, nata in una famiglia<br />
dell’alta borghesia pisana. La sua preparazione culturale<br />
è legata alla psicologia e alle letterature straniere<br />
anche se poi ha scelto di lavorare in un settore desse piena<br />
soddisfazione, ai suoi interessi estetici, alla sua creatività e<br />
voglia di viaggiare. Donna raffinata, colta e di grande personalità,<br />
Giuliana Michelotti ha collaborato negli anni come<br />
consulente creativa con noti marchi di moda e gioielleria<br />
tra cui Anne Klein, Swarovsky, Gianfranco Ferré, Genny,<br />
Valentino, Versace, Dolce & Gabbana, Lacroix.<br />
Ma è nel 1995 che ha lancia la sua linea di gioielli-sculture<br />
GMCOLLECTIONS. Sono stati i suoi numerosi viaggi di<br />
lavoro come consulente in Asia ed Africa che le hanno permesso<br />
di conoscere un’antica tecnica di lavorazione dell’argento.<br />
Rielabora e interpreta in modo personale questa<br />
tecnica dando vita ad un protocollo unico ed esclusivo di
