This book, created as a photo feature, is a journey along the Peninsula in search<br />
of traces which still reveal the strength of the message of Totò. Murals, dedicated<br />
locations, thoughts by VIPs and common people. A selection of thirty<br />
exclusive shoots reminding us of the uniqueness of Antonio de Curtis’s message. In<br />
support of the venture, the company Once – Extraordinary Events, who follows the<br />
launching of the volume, has developed the competition “Totò Locator” inviting<br />
all lovers of Totò to point out places where the memory of the Prince is strongest<br />
(www.totoprincipe.com). A 96-page book, printed on refined uncoated paper, it also<br />
includes a preview of the next editorial project “I tre nonni” (The three granddads)<br />
in which Antonello Buffardi de Curtis, Totò’s grandson, reveals the family secrets.<br />

TUSCANY IS THE FIRST REGION OF “XXI. GUIDE D’ARTISTA”<br />
LA TOSCANA È LA PRIMA REGIONE DI “XXI. GUIDE D’ARTISTA”<br />
Twenty-one artist books make up the new book series on Italy which the Centro Di, together<br />
with the artist Giacomo Zaganelli, have come up with to create exploration and alternative<br />
knowledge itineraries different from the most conventional ones. An artist, a region. Each<br />
artist will be given a region where to focus their work, revealing unknown or forgotten natural<br />
features. Projects which will be proposed by the artists little by little and transformed into books<br />
together with the curators and the editor. The first volume of “XXI. Guide d’Artista” (XXI. Artist<br />
Guides) is dedicated to Tuscany and gets its lead from the project La Mappa dell’Abbandono”(Map<br />
of Dereliction) by Zaganelli (www.giacomozaganelli.com/projects/la-mappa-dell-abbandono), who<br />
carried out a vast digital mapping (on Google Maps) of places in Tuscany that have been ‘forgotten’,<br />
are in disuse, are now industrial archeology or just old.<br />
Ventuno libri d’artista comporranno la nuova collana sull’Italia, che il Centro Di, insieme<br />
all’artista Giacomo Zaganelli, ha ideato per costruire un percorso di esplorazione e conoscenza<br />
alternativo agli itinerari turistici più ortodossi. Un artista, una regione. A ogni<br />
artista sarà affidata la regione nella quale si concentra il suo lavoro, per rivelarne una geografia<br />
sconosciuta o dimenticata. Progetti che saranno via via proposti dagli artisti e trasformati in libri<br />
insieme ai curatori e all’editore. Il primo volume di “XXI. Guide d’artista” è dedicato alla Toscana<br />
e prende le mosse dal progetto La Mappa dell’Abbandono di Zaganelli (www.giacomozaganelli.<br />
com/projects/la-mappa-dell-abbandono), che ha compiuto una vasta mappatura digitale (su Google<br />
Maps) dei luoghi della Toscana ‘dimenticati’, in disuso, di archeologia industriale oppure antichi.<br />
