An interesting development of the concepts of time and space in the haiku is<br />

proposed by Cascina Macondo, which introduces kigo temporis and kigo<br />

misuralis. When in a haiku there is an idea of time that has elapsed or of<br />

depth, of space, but a definite seasonal word is not present, it is possible to<br />

consider the poem as a haiku all the same, by virtue of the concept of time,<br />

space, distance, proximity, path:<br />
