48 WHERE TO GO IN

48 WHERE TO GO IN Berlin Restaurants THE ENTRECÔTE The Entrecôte is a Restaurant and Brasserie right in the heart of Berlin. People say you feel the spirit of Paris at the Entrecôte. This is not too big a promise. L´esprit brasserie lifestyle can normally only be found in Paris - but is loved by many poets, writers and artists, The Entrecôte brought this esprit to life in Berlin – without copying it. You will find in our great offer of typically French cuisine, dishes such as Le Saumon Fumé, Les Escargots, Le Foie Gras, Les Huitres Fines de Claires to begin with the starters! Typical dishes normally found only in brasseries. Still we maintained our independence, and did not copy the interiors. There is no fake Art Deco or plush at our place. We are perfectly aware of being a Berlin location. The modern and elegant but very comfortable interior is our priority. This does not in the least impair the lifestyle. The opposite is the case: This is what makes the Entrecôte so real. Open Monday to Friday from 11:30 am to midnight; Saturday and Sunday from 5:30 pm to midnight Entrecôte Gaststätten GmbH Schützenstraße 5 – 10117 Berlin Mitte/ Am Checkpoint Charlie Friedrichstraße Tel : +49 (0)30 20 16 54 96 info@entrecote.de RESTAURANT REINHARD’S In the heart of the Nikolaiviertel in Berlin you can undertake a wonderful journey through time. Passing through the massive swing doors of Reinhard’s you will find yourself in the world of the Golden Twenties. The atmosphere is underlined by the flair of Parisian cafés. The restaurant is lovingly decorated with pictures of celebrated theatre and movie stars and famous expressionist and naturalist paintings. The international kitchen with French finesse presents day and evening menus that change each week. One of their specialities “The secret of the Kaiserhof” is a dish that the kitchen of the Kaiserhof hotel once created for the artist Max Liebermann. The recipe of the sauce is still a secret. The philosophy of Reinhard’s is that you can eat and drink everything from croissant and coffee to an exclusive menu with vintage champagne.
