Museum De Lakenhal

De Lakenhal, ooit centrum van de
Leidse Lakenindustrie, beschikt
over meesterwerken van
Lucas van Leyden, Rembrandt,
Jan Steen en vele anderen. Ook
kunt u in stijlvolle zalen
unieke voorwerpen en
verzamelingen tin, tegels,
glas en zilver bewonderen.
Molenmuseum De Valk
‘De Valk’ is een stellingkorenmolen
uit 1743. De huidige stenen
stellingmolen is de derde molen
die op deze plek heeft gestaan.
Sinds 2 juni 1966 is de molen
in gebruik als gemeentelijk
molenmuseum. Sinds 2000 is
De Valk weer maalvaardig. De
zeven verdiepingen zijn allen
toegankelijk voor bezoekers.

Museum De Lakenhal

museum’s stylish exhibition rooms
you can enjoy collections of tin,
tiles, glass and silver.
De Valk windmill museum
‘De Valk’ is a flour mill dating from
1743. The present stone windmill
is the third mill to have stood on
this site. The mill, that started
milling grain again in 2000, has
been in use since 2 June 1966 as
a municipal museum. The complete
mill, with its seven floors, is
open to visitors.
