Energy: sustainable <strong>en</strong>ergy options on the company level, solar <strong>en</strong>ergy (PV<br />
and thermal), wind <strong>en</strong>ergy, cog<strong>en</strong>eration, heat pumps, ...<br />
Economics: investm<strong>en</strong>t selection<br />
The subject of Waste & Energy is studied on the company level. Stud<strong>en</strong>ts play<br />
a role as an employee involved with managing waste and/or <strong>en</strong>ergy in a<br />
company or a <strong>en</strong>vironm<strong>en</strong>tal consultancy. Possible products: chapters on<br />
waste and <strong>en</strong>ergy in an <strong>en</strong>vironm<strong>en</strong>tal lic<strong>en</strong>se; waste reduction plan; <strong>en</strong>ergy<br />
reduction plan, feasibility studies. Possible roles: junior advisor of an<br />
<strong>en</strong>vironm<strong>en</strong>tal consultancy; <strong>en</strong>vironm<strong>en</strong>tal coordinator of a company; local<br />
EPA (Environm<strong>en</strong>tal Protection Ag<strong>en</strong>cy) functionary.<br />
