DILUTE ANTIFERRDMACP TIBM AND RANDOM FIELDS<br />

IN TUo-DIMENSIONAL 'SINS SYSTEMS<br />

We study the two-dimensional (2d) diluted antiferroeagnst in a uniform<br />

magnetic field using the real space runoralization group in ■<br />

hi hical cell. We follow separately the probability distributions<br />

of random exchange couplings and of agnstic fields along the<br />

renoralizatlan process. Due to the random couplings the initial<br />

uniform magnetic field becomes a random variable with a mean value<br />

which continuously <strong>de</strong>creases to zero. In this 2d case the flow of the<br />

probability distributions is always towards the atractor of the<br />

paramagnetic phase characterized by w m and - to in<br />

agreement with dc•2. We discuss the connections of our results with<br />

those obtained previously for the random field problem using the same<br />

approach.<br />

As medidas dc calor especifico entre 0.06 e 1.3K do composto Cu(L -buth indicam um<br />

comportamento unidimensional da interação entre os Mama <strong>de</strong> cobre vizinhos. A partir<br />

<strong>de</strong>ntas medidas c possível avaliar o valor da constante <strong>de</strong> troca I 1 I /k <strong>de</strong>sta interação e<br />

comparar-lo oom os resultados obtidas par FSR.<br />

a presença ou não <strong>de</strong> um efeito <strong>de</strong> frustração no comportamento magnético<br />
