A OHSAS 18001 é uma norma de requisitos relacionados
ao Sistema de Gestão de Saúde e Segurança. O sistema
permite que uma organização tenha conhecimento e
controle todos os perigos relevantes resultantes das operações
normais e anormais e melhore seu desempenho
neste campo.

OHSAS 18.001 is a standard with the requirements
related to Health and Safety Management System. The

this field.

The OHSAS 18000 series consists of a set of British
Standards to guide the formation of an Occupational
Health and Safety (OH & S) Management System and its
certification. It is a tool that provides guidance on which
an organization can deploy and be audited in relation to
the procedures for health and safety.
OHSAS is an abbreviation for Occupational Health
and Safety Assessment Services. The management
system proposed by OHSAS can be integrated with
environmental management systems and also quality
management systems, but its functionality is independent
of the others.
OHSAS standard sets minimum requirements for the
construction of an OH & S management system where an
organization should consider the jobs hazards and risks to
which workers (employees and outsourced) may be exposed.
The method consists in drawing up the policy and
objectives related to how the company intends to behave
