FERRAMENTAS DA ARTE DIAMANTE AMPLIAM A PRODUTIVIDADE NO CORTE DA MADEIRA EM BUSCA DOS MERCADOS DOS EUA (ESTADOS UNIDOS DA AMÉRICA) E AMÉRICA LATINA EXPANSION ACROSS THE AMERICAS ARTE DIAMANTE TOOLS INCREASE WOOD CUTTING PRODUCTIVITY IN SEARCH OF MARKETS IN THE UNITED STATES AND LATIN AMERICA I n the last 39 years, the Brazilian Forest-based and Furniture Sectors have had precision and quality tools that have expanded wood applications and cuts. Manufacturer of cutting tools for wood and other materials, Arte Diamante, based in Corupá (SC), has been growing in recent years within the Brazilian, North American, and Latin American markets. “The differential of the products is that they stand out in the quality, finish, and precision of the material. When a woodworker buys an Arte Diamante cutting tool, a differential is soon perceived from the thickness of the cutting insert blade to the durability of the cut, the balance, cutting angle, etc. It is a differentiated material, just pass a hand over the surface to realize the finish and care in the piece. There is no comparison,” says Adriano Donato, Managing Partner of Buriti Madeiras from Santo André (SP). Over the years, Arte Diamante has been innovating in production systems, automation, and machinery. “Recently, we have acquired another machining center for the production of interchangeable tools, and by 2023 further investments in production technology are scheduled. As a result, 2022 should end with more than 20% growth compared to last year. For 2023, the planned growth is 30%,” says Téo Bogo, Managing Director of Arte Diamante. The Company was founded in 1983 by his father Teofanes Bogo and Ronaldo Schalinski, his former partner. Téo Bogo took over the management in 2021. However, Teofanes Bogo still follows the progress of the Company but without the administrative burden of 38 years. Today, he focuses on development projects of differentiated machinery for sharpening planers and heads, improvements in the finger-jointer sharpening processes, and initiating consulting work in machining and cutting wood processes, an old desire of his. “My father uses all his knowledge as a manufacturer of wood cutting tools to assist sawmill and furniture companies in their wood machining processes. Often, this is with less investment than one might imagine, taking advantage of the same machinery, without unnecessary costs,” says the current Managing Director Bogo. According to the Managing Director, the almost 40 years, coupled with recent innovative projects, have put the Company at a level where research and development will dictate the audacious growth planned for the coming years.
