MATO GROSSO IMPLANTOU ESTE ANO O SIS-
FLORA 2.0. QUAL AVALIAÇÃO DESTE NOVO SISTE-
MA?
A minha avaliação é de que o setor florestal do Estado
de Mato Grosso sai na vanguarda com a implantação
do Sisflora 2.0 e integração total com o sistema nacional
DOF (Documento de origem florestal) +Rastreabilidade,
pois trata-se do mais avançado sistema de controle de
produtos florestais do mundo, atendendo as exigências
do mercado nacional e internacional. Dessa forma, o
mercado consumidor tem a segurança de estar adquirindo
produtos florestais com garantia de origem legal e
com rastreabilidade.
COMO É UMA ATIVIDADE LONGE DOS GRAN-
DES CENTROS URBANOS, EXISTE INFRAESTRUTU-
RA ADEQUADA PARA ATENDER AS NECESSIDADES
DOS EMPRESÁRIOS DO SETOR?
É importante destacar que o setor de base florestal
está distribuído em vários municípios de Mato Grosso,
que vai desde a cidade de Cuiabá até Colniza, divisa
com Rondônia e Amazonas. Nos municípios com melhor
localização geográfica existem condições razoáveis de
infraestrutura. Mas, nos municípios localizados mais ao
extremo norte do Estado, as condições de estradas e
energia são insuficientes. Principalmente no período
das chuvas, quando o setor enfrenta enormes desafios
para escoar os seus produtos, como atoleiros, pontes
danificadas e quedas na rede de energia, dentre outros
entraves.
QUAL LEGADO PRETENDE DEIXAR DA SUA GES-
TÃO À FRENTE DO CIPEM?
Que a minha gestão fique caracterizada pelo desenvolvimento
conjunto com os demais diretores do Cipem
e sindicatos, com trabalhos decisivos que geraram transformações
e melhorias coletivas no setor de base florestal
de Mato Grosso.

IMPLEMENTED SISFLORA 2.0. WHAT IS YOUR
EVALUATION OF THIS NEW SYSTEM?
The State of Mato Grosso Forest-based Sector
comes out at the forefront with the implementation of
Sisflora 2.0 and full integration with the national Document
of Forest Origin + Traceability System because
it is the most advanced system for control of forest
products in the world, meeting the requirements of the
national and international market. In this way, the consumer
market has the security of acquiring forest products
with a guarantee of legal origin and traceability.
AS IT IS AN ACTIVITY FAR FROM LARGE UR-
BAN CENTERS, IS THERE AN ADEQUATE INFRAS-
TRUCTURE TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THE BUSI-
NESSES IN THE SECTOR?
It is essential to highlight that the Forest-based
Sector is distributed over several municipalities in the
State of Mato Grosso, ranging from Cuiabá to Colniza,
bordering the States of Rondônia and Amazonas. The
municipalities with the best geographical location have
reasonable infrastructure conditions. However, the road
and power conditions are insufficient in the areas located
in the Far North of the State, especially in the rainy
season, when the Sector faces enormous challenges
in transporting its products, facing obstacles such as
quagmires, damaged bridges, and power outages.
WHAT LEGACY DO YOU INTEND TO LEAVE
FROM YOUR MANAGEMENT AT THE HEAD OF
CIPEM?
I hope my mandate will be characterized by joint
development with the other Cipem and Business
Unions directors, with decisive work that generated
transformations and collective improvements in the
State of Mato Grosso Forest-based Sector.
