Bilimsel Bitki Çizimi
Botanik, biyoloji, tıp, zooloji, ziraat ve jeoloji gibi bilimlerde,
öğretici ve tamamlayıcı amaç hedeflenerek objenin gerçeğine
uygun olarak yapılan detaylı resimler ve illüstrasyonlara
‘bilimsel çizim’ ya da ‘bilimsel illüstrasyon’ adı verilir.
Bilimsel bitki çizimi de, bilimsel çizimin bir alt dalıdır.
Bilimsel bitki çiziminde amaç; resmedilen objenin vurgulanmak
istenen yönlerini, detaylarını belirginleştirmek,
gerektiğinde kimi detayları ayıklayıp yalınlaştırarak; ancak
gerçeklik duygusunu etkilemeyecek ölçüde abartma
yöntemlerine başvurarak, bir fotoğraf makinesinden daha
fazlasını yapmayı hedeflemektedir. Söz gelimi, biyolojik
özellikleri incelenen bir bitkinin, fotoğraf yöntemiyle sadece
bir kısmı ele alınırken, bilimsel illüstrasyonda bitkinin
yaprak, gövde, çiçek, dal, kök bölgeleri abartılarak dokusu,
damarları ve hatta bütünü bir arada gerçeğe en yakın şekilde
resmedilebilmektedir.
Bilimsel bitki çizimi (bilimsel illüstrasyon); bilimsel gözlem,
disiplinli çalışma ve sanatsal etkinin bir karışımıdır. Bitki
illüstrasyonu, botanik ana bilim dalında, bitkilerin doğru
teşhis edilebilmesi ve daha sonra yapılacak olan bilimsel
çalışmalara kaynak olması açısından büyük önem taşır. Bitkilerin
ayrıntılı resimleri botanikçilerin en önemli başvuru
kaynaklarından biridir. Fotoğrafa sağlanamayacak ayrıntı
düzeyi, bu yöntemle ifade edilebilir ve görsel olarak daha
etkilidir. Bu şekilde disiplinli bir çalışmanın estetik olarak
ortaya çıkması daha büyük kitlelere ulaşmak açısından da
önemlidir. Oluşan bu ilgi, florayı bilen insan sayısının artmasını
ve sadece bilim adamları değil, genel halkın da aktif
bir şekilde bitkilerle ilgilenmesini sağlamaktadır.
BUSMEK, alanında uzman usta öğreticilerin nezaretinde,
‘bilimsel bitki çizimi’ alanında verdiği eğitimde, teknik kalem,
karakalem, suluboya teknikleri ile bitki resimlemeyi
göstermekte, kursiyerlerin, amaca hizmet edecek şekilde
sanatı, doğru yöntem ve tekniklerle öğrenmesini sağlamaktadır.
Günümüzde, dünyanın birçok ülkesinde sanatın önemli bir
dalı olan ve sanat fakültelerinde akademik eğitimi verilen
bilimsel bitki çizimi, ne yazık ki Türkiye’de yeterli ilgiyi görmemekte
ve bilinmemektedir. Profesyonelleri, parmakla
gösterilecek kadar az sayıdadır.
“Bilimsel Bitki Çizimi” çalışmalarında ortaya çıkan ürün,
birbirinden güzel bitkilerin kısım kısım incelenmeye hazır
hale gelmesini sağlamaktadır. Bu sayede Türkiye’de yok
olma tehlikesi altında olan bitkiler resmedilerek kayıt altına
alınmış olur. Bilimsel illüstrasyon, doğal alanların hızla
yok olduğu çağımızda, tehlike altında olan bitkilerin korumaya
alınması için büyük önem arz etmektedir.
Scientific Plant Drawing
Scientifc drawings or scientifc illustrations are very detailed
and realistic drawings or illustrations of objects used
in sciences such as botanic, biology, zoology, medicine,
agriculture and geology, and created with an informative
or a complementary purpose. And scientifc plant drawing
is one of the subbranches of scientifc drawings.
The aim of scientifc plant drawing is to make the features
of an object we want to emphasize more prominent, eliminating
some of the details if necessary, but not compromising
the feeling of realness by using some exaggeration
techniques. In other words, the aim is doing more than
what a camera does. For instance, by using a camera, we
can cover only some certain parts of a plant the biological
features of which we would like to analyse. However,
With a scientifc illustration of the same plant, we can realistically
draw the leaves, flowers, branches, body and
roots of a plant with exaggeration techniques, having at
our disposal the most realistic form of the plant with all
the tissues and veins.
Scientifc plant drawing (scientifc illustration), is performed
bringing together scientifc experimenting, disciplined
work and artistic affect. In botanic, scientifc plant illustration
has great importance in the correct recognition of
plants, as well as being a useful source for later works and
experiments. The detailed drawings of plants are one of
the most important sources of research for botanists. It
is visually more influential, and the level of details which
photography can never provide is acquired thanks to this
art. Also, creating an aesthetic product with a disciplined
labor helps the performers of this art reach a larger audience.
The popularity which was created through this art
has helped more people except for scientists have become
interested in plants.
In BUSMEK, masters of this art teach the trainees how
to perform the art using techniques such as pencil and
water colouring. Thus, trainees learn how to do the scientifc
drawing of the plants with a performance which best
matches with the actual purpose of the art.
Scientifc plant drawing, which nowadays is considered as
an important art in many countries in the world, and which
is taught academically in many art faculties, is unfortunately
not popular and well-known in Turkey.
Products which are created by the help of the trainings
help beautifully drawn plants be analysed part by part.
Thanks to this, the plants which are about to disappear
from the face of the earth can be drawn and saved in
relevant databases. In this era which our natural assets
slip through our hands, scientifc illustration of plants are
of great importance in our efforts to preserve the plants
which are under the danger of disappearing.
