BUSMEK HAKKINDA
Bursa Büyükşehir Belediyesi Sanat ve Meslek
Eğitim Kursları (BUSMEK), yaşam boyu eğitim
anlayışıyla Bursalıların pek çok alanda sanat ve
mesleki eğitim ihtiyacına cevap vermek, mesleki
ve sanatsal bilgilerini geliştirerek meslek ve
beceri sahibi olmalarını sağlamak, endüstrileşmenin
ihtiyacı olan kalifiye elemanları yetiştirerek
ülkenin sanayisine katkıda bulunmak, kaybolmaya
yüz tutmuş geleneksel el sanatlarımızı
yaşatmak, bireylerin iyi bir üretici, bilinçli bir tüketici
olmalarını sağlamak, kültürel ve sosyal
gelişimlerine katkıda bulunmak, kent kültürüne
adaptasyonunu sağlamak vb. amaçlarla kurulmuştur.
Bursalılara hizmette 13 yılı geride bırakan
BUSMEK, günümüzde yetişkin eğitiminde öncü
kurum kimliğine sahiptir. Hayat boyu öğrenme
anlayışıyla nitelikli eğitimlerine hız kesmeden
devam eden BUSMEK, yılda ortalama 30 bin
kursiyere eğitim vermektedir.
2006’dan bu yana ücretsiz kaliteli eğitimin adresi
olan BUSMEK, 30 farklı mekanda eğitim ve
sosyal faaliyetler yürütmeye devam ediyor. Bursa
halkının artan ilgisi sayesinde hizmet çıtasını
dikkat çekici düzeyde yükselten BUSMEK adeta
bir “halk üniversitesi” konumundadır.
Mesleki ve teknik eğitimden geleneksel sanatlara,
gösteri sanatlarından kişisel gelişime kadar
pek çok branşta Bursalıların yoğun ilgisini gören
BUSMEK kurslarında, alanında uzman usta öğreticiler
eğitim vermektedir.
Sanat ve meslek eğitimlerinin yanı sıra eğitim
sürecini destekleyici ve tamamlayıcı nitelikteki
hizmetler de BUSMEK’in önemli faaliyetlerindendir.
Ücretsiz verilen bu hizmetler; sergi ve
fuarlar, seminerler, yayınlar, kursiyer eserlerinin
satışı, atölye faaliyetleri, yarışma, sempozyum
vb. etkinliklerdir. BUSMEK’in faaliyet alanı olan
eğitimlerin dışındaki bu tür çalışmalar da yetişkin
eğitimi kapsamında gerçekleştirilmektedir.
Böylelikle Bursa’nın kültürel dokusuna önemli
katkılarda bulunulmaktadır.

ABOUT BUSMEK
BUSMEK, Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Art
and Vocational Education Courses was established
with idea of education through out life
to serve Bursa citizens in many areas such as
training and improvement of art and vocational
skills, contributing to country economy by
provaiding skilled workers, revival of traditional
handcraft, making them conscious in production
and consumption, improving cultural and
social life, adaptation to city culture etc.
BUSMEK as leaving behind 13 years of service
to the people of Bursa, is a pioneer institution
in Adult Education nowadays. BUSMEK with
lifelong quality education training approach is
going on to give training courses on average to
30 thousand trainees per year.
BUSMEK, the address of gualified free Art and
Vocational Education Courses to Bursa citizens
since 2006, as increasing the number of course
centers to 30 and has gone on to carry out
social and cultural activities in different places
in this educational term. BUSMEK with the
growing interest of Bursa citizens increased its
serving level is in the position of ” public university”
.
Master teachers who are expert in the courses
train at BUSMEK courses that are variety of fields
from vocational and technical education to
traditional handcraft, from performance arts to
personal development and that are got attraction
by Bursa citizens.
Also thand supplementary services to the education
period as well as art and vocational education.
The free services are exhibition and fair,
seminars, publications, sale of trainee’s works,
workshops, competition, symposiums etc. The
services that are out of the education field of
BUSMEK are performed within the concept of
adult education.
THE LEGAL BASIS AND CURRICULUM
BUSMEK provides training accordance with
the instruction of Ministry of National Education,
General Directory of Lifelong Learning and
the article 7/v in the subject of Functions and
Responsibilities of Greater City of Greater City
Municipality Law Nr 5216 ‘To construct or operate
health centers, hospitals, mobile health
units and to undertake all kinds of social and
cultural services for adults, old and young pe-

ile yetişkinler, yaşlılar, engelliler, kadınlar,
gençler ve çocuklara yönelik her türlü sosyal ve
kültürel hizmetleri yürütmek, geliştirmek ve bu
amaçla sosyal tesisler kurmak, meslek ve beceri
kazandırma kursları açmak, işletmek ve işlettirmek,
bu hizmetleri yürütürken üniversiteler,
yüksek okullar, meslek liseleri, kamu kuruluşları
ve sivil toplum örgütleri ile işbirliği yapmak”
hükmü ile, Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı Hayat Boyu Öğrenme
Genel Müdürlüğü Yönetmelik esaslarına
göre eğitim vermektedir.
EĞİTİM ŞARTLARI, SÜRESİ ve SERTİFİKA
Zorunlu İlköğretim yaşını tamamlamış her Bursalı
BUSMEK kursiyeri olabilmektedir. Buna göre
BUSMEK’te kursiyer alt yaş sınırı 16’dır, üst yaş
sınırı ise yoktur.
Kayıtlar her yıl Eylül ayında yapılmakta, dersler
Ekim ayında başlamaktadır. Eğitim dönemi
Haziran ayında sona ermektedir. Milli Eğitim
Bakanlığı’nın (M.E.B) belirlediği müfredatlar çerçevesinde
3 buçuk aydan 10 aya kadar süren
eğitimlerin yanı sıra bazı branşlarda tekâmül
kursları verilmektedir. Branşın kredisini dolduran
kursiyerlere M.E.B. onaylı kurs bitirme sertifikası,
derslere devam eden ancak yeterli başarı
gösteremeyen kursiyerlere ise katılım belgesi
verilmektedir.
EĞİTİM METODU
BUSMEK teorik ve uygulamalı eğitim metodunu
esas alır.
HEDEF KİTLESİ
BUSMEK’in hedef kitlesi sosyal alanı kısıtlı Bursa
halkıdır. BUSMEK modelinin ana hedef kitlesi
belirtildiği üzere ev kadınları, genç kızlar ve meslek
sahibi olamamış, kendini geliştirmek isteyen
erkeklerdir. İlköğretim yaşını geçmiş herhangi
bir mesleki eğitim almamışlar, bir meslek sahibi
olmuş ancak mesleğinde ilerlemek isteyenler,
yeni bir sanat, hobi, beceri edinmek isteyenler,
okuma yazma bilmeyenler, çeşitli nedenlerle rehabiliteye
ihtiyacı olanlar, kente adaptasyon ihtiyacı
olan gruplar, çevre edinmek ve çevrelerini
genişletmek isteyenler, örgün eğitimin herhangi
bir kademesinden ayrılmış veya tamamlamış
olanlar, BUSMEK’in hedef kitlesidir.
Kişilerin içindeki yetenekleri keşfedip ortaya
çıkaran, geliştirmesine yardımcı olarak özgüven
aşılayan, üretici konumuna getiren, rehabiliople,
disabled persons, woman and children; to
establish social facilities for welfare purposes
and to develop the existing ones, to open and
operate or let others to operate courses for improvement
of skills and gaining professions; To
establish cooperation with universities, higher
education institutions, technical high schools
and civil community organizations while performing
these activities.’
THE CONDITIONS and PERIOD OF EDUCA-
TION and CERTIFICATE
All the Residents in Bursa completing obligatory
primary school age can be a BUSMEK trainee.
So the bottom age limit so as to be able to
attend BUSMEK courses is sixteen. There is no
upper age limit.
Each year the registrations are made in September
and the courses begin in October. The
training period ends in June. Within the frame
of the curriculum prepared by Ministry of National
Education, the course period ranges from
3.5 months to 10 months. The successful trainees
completing the credits of the branch receive
Course Graduation Certificate approved by
Ministry of National Education, those trainees
attending to the courses but cannot succeed in
finishing the course are awarded with Course
Attendance Certificate.
THE METHOD OF EDUCATION
BUSMEK has based on the method of theorical
and practical education.
THE TARGET GROUP
The target group of BUSMEK is Bursa Citizens
who are in the limited social domain such as
housewives, young girls, unemployed and willing
to personal development men and also those
who are elder than primary school age, no
vocational education, willing to development in
their jobs, willing to get new hobby, art, skill,
illiterate, needing to rehabilitation, adaptation
to the city, willing to get social circle and
to expand their circles are the target group of
BUSMEK.
BUSMEK that explores and finds out skill of
individual, helps to improve the skill, gains
self-confidence, transforms into producer, rehabilitates,
puts at individual ease, gets social
circle and friends, makes a point of training
