The placing of all poles or supports shall be under the control of the Board<br />
of <strong>Public</strong> <strong>Works</strong>.<br />
All poles for the suspension of wires, tubes, or any other contrivance for the<br />
conveyance of electrical currents shall not be less than twenty-five (25) feet<br />
in height from the grade of the street to the first crossbar from ground, not<br />
less than eight (8) inches in diameter at the top thereof, and shall be smooth<br />
and straight and neatly painted or stained to the satisfaction of the Board of<br />
<strong>Public</strong> <strong>Works</strong>.<br />
D. Disconnection Expense<br />
When any poles are of a height of less than fifty (50) feet between the grade<br />
of the street and the first crossbar fastened to the poles, all wires shall be<br />
disconnected at the expense of the person owning, or at the time of any such<br />
disconnection, exercising the control over, or use of, the wires, to allow the<br />
passage of buildings sought to be moved across the line of the wires; but<br />
where the poles are of a height of over fifty (50) feet between the grade of<br />
street and the first wire or wires attached to the poles, the disconnection<br />
shall be made at the expense of the person moving the building.<br />
