that the textile and ready wear sector in
Turkey is highly dynamic and has a structure
that with high competition power
and can rapidly change and transfor in
accordance to the requirements. Prof
Karaoğlu has also said that “I see it as
an important global scale competitor in
industry and production areas and trade
area and also as an important actor
with irreplaceable superiorities such
as human resources, accumulation of
knowledge and its established powerful
international relationships.”
ifade etti. Öte yandan, Laboratuvarda bulunan,
FTIR, UV Spektrofotometre, Diferansiyel Taramalı Kalorimetre
(DSC) ve Dinamik Mekanik Analiz DMA gibi
aletli sistemlerle moleküler ölçekte yapısal, yüzeysel,
termal ve thermo-mekanik malzeme özelliklerinin
karakterizasyonu yapılabiliyor.
IT RECEIVED FULL MARKS FROM TURKISH
ACCREDITATION AGENCY
Prof. Dr. Emel Önder Karaoğlu said that
the quality of the services given has
been ensured by the laboratory team
and management and she also said:
“We have applied to Turkish Accreditation
Agency (TÜRKAK). We have successfully
prevailed from every single
one of 33 experiment method. According
to the TSE/ISO 17025 standards,
the laboratory accreditation that we
possess is the most comprehensive
between the university laboratories in
the field of textile within the stature of
experiment laboratories. Thus, the quality
of the services given to the textile
and confection sector with significant
contributions to the national economy,
production, exportation, employment
and also public institutions and it has
acquired an important power for providing
environment and possibility
towards the cooperation of university
and industry and supporting the scientific
and industrial R&D processes.”
THE MOST EQUIPPED TEXTILE
LABORATORY OF THE COUNTRY
Prof. Dr. Emel Önder Karaoğlu has informed
about the analysis that are being
carried out in the laboratory and they
are able to implement around 80 experiments
in accordance to the methods
determined in the national standards
such as TSE and international standards
such as ASTM. Aside from that, characterization
of structural, superficial,
thermal and thermo-mechanic material
specifications can be carried out
in molecular scale in tooled systems
such as FTIR, UV Spectrophotometer,
Differential Scanning Calorimeter
(DSC) and Dynamic Mechanic Analysis
(DMA) located in the laboratory.
