kaynaklarını kullanarak dünya çapında başarı
kazanacak dermokozmetik ürünler üretme
hedeflerini anlatan Cihat Dündar, sözlerine şöyle
devam etti:
hedefliyoruz.”
Türkiye’nin kozmetik pazar hacmi 8 milyar TL
Dünyada kozmetik pazarı yaklaşık 500 milyar
dolarlık bir büyüklükteyken, ülkemizde sadece 8
milyar TL’lik bir hacme sahip olduğuna dikkati çeken
Cihat Dündar, “Bu açıdan baktığımızda ülkemizdeki
kozmetik pazarının çok yüksek bir potansiyele
sahip olduğunu söyleyebiliriz. Bu pazarın yaklaşık
yüzde 10’luk kısmı dermokozmetik ürünlerden
oluşmaktadır. Pazarın yaklaşık yüzde 70’i de dünyada
hiç örneği olmayacak şekilde yabancı markaların
elinde bulunmaktadır” diye konuştu
Chairman Cihat Dundar said: “Our country’s thermal
water resources are being used for the first time
in dermo-cosmetics with innovative products from
Biota”. Cihat Dundar said that Biota aims to offer
solutions enriched with thermal water content to
dermatological problems such as acne, dark spots,
and atopic dermatitis which are increasing in today’s
world, and added that these products are not only
limited in pharmacies in Turkey but also meet with
consumers in 60 countries they are exported.
”Biota targets to obtain the market leadership it
has in anti-hair loss products for all dermatological
products it develops,” said Dundar. “To achieve this
goal Biota will develop more effective solutions by
combining herbal ingredients with thermal water
content.”
Turkey is the first European country rich in thermal
water
Cihat Dundar indicated that Turkey in terms of richness
and potential of geothermal resources in Europe takes
the first place, and in the world is one of the first seven
countries. He said: “According to Ministry of Energy and
Natural Resources’ data there are around 1500 natural
water sources in our country”. Mentioning the desire to
produce dermo-cosmetic products using Turkey’s rich
thermal water resources to gain worldwide success,
Cihat Dundar continued his speech as follows: “We
achieved to use thermal sources in an applicative
way and bring healthy skin and hair products to our
consumers. Moreover, we transformed this starting into
economic values and made into an innovative product
ready to be exported worldwide. Turkey is taking the
first steps in this field, all the necessary investments
are continuing to be made. Today, with our domestic
market, we aim to carry our country to the position
of headquarters of our region in the field of dermocosmetics
with our export, distributorship agreements
and investments we have made to more than 60
countries as a global brand. “
Turkey’s cosmetics market volume is estimated in 8
billion
Cihat Dundar remarked that cosmetics market in the
world has a size of approximately 500 billion dollars
and a volume of only 8 billion TL in Turkey. “We can say
that cosmetics market in our country has a very high
potential. Approximately 10 percent of this market is
made up of dermo-cosmetic products. Approximately 70
percent of the market is in the hands of foreign brands,
which is no longer the case in the world,” Cihat Dundar
said.
