inawadhaminia wasimamizi wa viwanda<br />

v<strong>ya</strong> nishati vinavyotumia miale <strong>ya</strong> jua au<br />

upepo ada <strong>ya</strong> chini <strong>ya</strong> umeme wanaozalisha<br />

katika kipindi mahususi. Tarehe inayotumika<br />

kuamua ada ni mwaka ule kiwanda cha nishati<br />

kinapozinduliwa. Ada hushuka kila mwaka<br />

vile teknolojia inavyoboreka na matumizi pana<br />

<strong>ya</strong> teknolojia husaidia gharama za uwekezaji<br />

kushuka kila wakati. Nchini <strong>Ujerumani</strong><br />

utaratibu wa mnada (Angalia Mnada)<br />

utachukua mahali pa ada za sasa za kudumu za<br />

kusambaza kwenye gridi katika miaka ijayo.<br />

Ada <strong>ya</strong> ziada <strong>ya</strong> Sheria <strong>ya</strong> V<strong>ya</strong>nzo Endelevu v<strong>ya</strong><br />

Nishati / mfumo wa ada <strong>ya</strong> ziada<br />

Watumiaji wote nchini <strong>Ujerumani</strong> husimamia<br />

ada za ziada za nishati inayozalishwa kutokana<br />

na v<strong>ya</strong>nzo endelevu v<strong>ya</strong> nishati kupitia ada <strong>ya</strong><br />

ziada <strong>ya</strong> bei <strong>ya</strong> umeme, kwa mujibu wa Sheria<br />

<strong>ya</strong> V<strong>ya</strong>nzo Endelevu v<strong>ya</strong> Nishati. Kiwango cha<br />

ada <strong>ya</strong> ziada hutokea katika utofauti kati <strong>ya</strong><br />

ada zinazolipwa wasimamizi na mapato kutoka<br />

mauzo <strong>ya</strong> umeme kwenye soko la nishati.<br />

Biashara zilizo na mahitaji makubwa <strong>ya</strong> umeme<br />

hazilipishwi ada <strong>ya</strong> ziada kamili.<br />

Betri<br />

Betri ni vifaa v<strong>ya</strong> kielektro-kemikali v<strong>ya</strong><br />

kuhifadhi nishati. Zikiunganishwa na mzunguko<br />

umeme, zinaachilia chaji na umeme unapita.<br />

Betri zinazowekwa chaji up<strong>ya</strong> hutumika kwenye<br />

bidhaa kama vile simu za mkononi na magari<br />

<strong>ya</strong>nayotumia umeme. Betri zinazowekwa chaji<br />

up<strong>ya</strong> zinatumika pamoja na v<strong>ya</strong>nzo endelevu <strong>ya</strong><br />

nishati, kwa mfano kwenye miradi <strong>ya</strong> fotovolti<br />

(PV). Hapa zinarejelewa kama mifumo <strong>ya</strong> betri<br />

<strong>ya</strong> kuhifadhi. Betri zaweza kuhifadhi tu kiasi<br />

kidogo cha chaji <strong>ya</strong> umeme, kulingana na uwezo<br />

wao (unaopimwa kwa saa za ampea – ah).<br />

Betri za nishati<br />

Betri za nishati ni viwanda vidogo sana v<strong>ya</strong><br />

nishati ambavyo hugeuza nishati <strong>ya</strong> kemikali<br />

kuwa nishati <strong>ya</strong> umeme, hivyo kuzalisha<br />

umeme. Zinatumika kwa mfano ku<strong>ya</strong>endesha<br />

magari <strong>ya</strong> umeme au kwenye maeneo<br />

ambayo ha<strong>ya</strong>jaunganishwa kwenye gridi <strong>ya</strong><br />

umeme. Nyenzo zinazohitajika ni haidrojeni<br />

na oksijeni pekee. Mfumo huu wa kuzalisha<br />

nishati hausababishi gesijoto, mbali mvuke<br />

tu. Haidrojeni inayohitajika kuzalisha nishati<br />

<strong>ya</strong>weza kutengenezwa kwa umeme kutoka<br />

v<strong>ya</strong>nzo v<strong>ya</strong> nishati endelevu (angalia nishati<br />

hadi gesi) Lakini betri za nishati ambazo<br />

hutumia nyenzo tofauti kama vile methanol pia<br />

ziko.<br />

Biashara <strong>ya</strong> kununua na kuuza gesijoto<br />

Barani Ula<strong>ya</strong> CO 2<br />

inathamana <strong>ya</strong> soko. Sekta<br />

<strong>ya</strong> nishati na viwanda vikubwa lazima zitoe<br />

hati kwa kila tani <strong>ya</strong> gesijoto wanayosababisha.<br />

Ikiwa hawana hati za kutosha inawabidi<br />

kununua kwenye soko maalum. Wakipunguza<br />

gesijoto wanayosababisha, wanaweza kuuza<br />

hati wasizohitaji. Kwa kuwa idadi <strong>ya</strong> hati<br />

zinazopatikana kile mwaka zinapunguka,<br />

mashirika <strong>ya</strong>na kishawishi cha kuwekeza<br />

kwenye mikakati <strong>ya</strong> kuokoa nishati au kutumia<br />

v<strong>ya</strong>nzo vingine v<strong>ya</strong> nishati ambavyo havidhuru<br />

mazingira sana.<br />

Gesijoto<br />

Gesijoto hubadilisha hewa <strong>ya</strong> anga kwa njia<br />

ambayo mwanga unaoakisiwa kutoka dunia<br />

haurudi angani lakini huakisiwa na hewa <strong>ya</strong><br />

anga kwenye dunia, hivyo kuchangia kwa<br />

kiwango kwa ongezeko la joto duniani. Athari<br />

hii ni sawa na nyumba <strong>ya</strong> kioo na hupasha dunia<br />

joto. Gesijoto ina<strong>ya</strong>julikana sana ni dayoksidi <strong>ya</strong><br />

kaboni, ambayo husababishwa hasa kutokana<br />

na kuchomwa kwa mafuta <strong>ya</strong> ardhini kama<br />

vile mafuta, gesi na makaa <strong>ya</strong> mawe. Gesijoto<br />

zingine ni pamoja na methani na CFC.<br />

Gridi <strong>ya</strong> umeme – gridi <strong>ya</strong> upeo wa volti – gridi<br />

<strong>ya</strong> kusafirisha<br />

Gridi <strong>ya</strong> umeme ndiyo mbinu <strong>ya</strong> kusafirisha<br />

umeme. Nchini <strong>Ujerumani</strong> na nchi zingine<br />

nyingi gridi huwa na viwango vinne ambavyo<br />

hutumiwa na volti tofauti: volti <strong>ya</strong> juu kabisa<br />

(220 au 380 kV), volti <strong>ya</strong> juu (60 kV hadi 220 kV),<br />

volti <strong>ya</strong> wastani (6 hadi 60 kV) na volti <strong>ya</strong> chini<br />

(230 au 400 V). Gridi <strong>ya</strong> volti <strong>ya</strong> chini hutumikia<br />

wapokeaji kama vile nyumba binafsi. Mitandao<br />

<strong>ya</strong> volti <strong>ya</strong> upeo hutumia volti iliyo karibu mara<br />

1000 zaidi na husafirisha kiwango kikubwa cha<br />

umeme kwa masafa marefu. Mitandao <strong>ya</strong> volti<br />

<strong>ya</strong> juu husambaza umeme hadi mitandao <strong>ya</strong><br />

wastani au mitandao <strong>ya</strong> chini. Mitandao <strong>ya</strong> volti<br />

<strong>ya</strong> wastani husambaza umeme zaidi lakini pia<br />

hutumikia wateja wakubwa kama vile viwanda<br />

na hospitali. Nyumba binafsi hupokea umeme<br />

wao kutoka gridi <strong>ya</strong> volti <strong>ya</strong> chini.<br />

Gridi mahiri<br />

Gridi mahiri ni mtandao wa usafirishaji<br />

ambapo vipande vyote huwasiliana na<br />

vingine, kuanzia wazalishaji, kupitia n<strong>ya</strong><strong>ya</strong> na<br />

mifumo <strong>ya</strong> kuhifadhi hadi kwa mtumiaji. Hii<br />

hutokea kupitia usambazaji wa kiotomatiki<br />

wa data za kidijitali. Mawasiliano <strong>ya</strong> haraka<br />

husaidia kuepusha vikwazo na uzalishaji wa<br />

kupindukia wa umeme na kusawazisha nishati<br />

inayozalishwa na mahitaji <strong>ya</strong> washikadau.
