peter couldn’t be happier-
About buffalos, bathing fun, and firemen
the six year old peters’ eyes shine with excitement as he arrives at the
finest familyhotel- he can hardly wait to greet our very own water buffalo!
he marches straight away to the corral to say “hello” to the water buffalos.
he knows the way to the meadow where the majestic animals are kept,
because peter and his family have been visiting the hotel; and especially
the water buffalos for three years now. they have been here around 40
times- to relax, enjoy nature, and to make peter happy- because he is the
center of attention here!
he loves to watch, feed, and talk to the animals. “he would love to
have his own buffalo as a pet” his mother isabella declares. she enjoys
coming here with her little boy and enjoys spending time together. But
the love of his life has priority: the mascot kasimir. he is so enamored
with the giant soft toy buffalo that his life almost revolves around the
friendly animal. from cutlery to soft toys, from t-shirts to napkins- peter
collects everything that portrays his favorite figure “kasimir”. of course
he doesn’t exclude our mouse lily- kasimirs friend and the second mascot
of the hotel! peter likes her at least as much as our buffalo. the holiday
would only be half as much fun without the two soft toy animals. “peter
loves kasimir- he doesn’t go anywhere without him”, says his mother with

a smile. she’s delighted that she can pamper him and that she has found a
place where the priority is playing, fun and excitement for the children.
Besides the mascots kasimir and lily, the children enjoy our own morning
song to start the day right, and there are lots of other exciting adventures
for our young guests. a special highlight: a visit from the fire brigade. a
couple of times a year, the volunteer fire Brigade from Bad tatzmannsdorf
comes with their fire trucks to the hotel, to show the kids how everything
works and what jobs the firemen have.
peter has really been looking forward to it. equipped with a fireman’s’
helmet (his mother is a member of their volunteer fire brigade), he
stands in the front row and can hardly wait to take a ride in the fire truck.
of course, kasimir and lily will be there, too! peter’s mama even got
miniature fire brigade uniforms for the two soft toys. the children are
enthusiastic about the firemen, the equipment, the siren, and most of all
the huge fire hoses. peter and the other small guests are allowed to play
in the spraying water, and splash about to their hearts content. the day
comes to a perfect end when he gets his ride in the fire truck!
preferably, peter would like to stay here forever and calls the hotel his
home: “We are just leaving to wash the laundry!” his mother laughs and
you can see that she agrees with her son’s enthusiasm. “actually, this is
like a permanent holiday because kasimir is always with us, whether we
are at the hotel or not!” and one thing is certain: peter will come again, to
his second home, the reiters finest familyhotel in Bad tatzmannsdorf.
