untereinander auf, informieren sich gegenseitig,
gründen facebook-Gruppen und/oder lernen sich
während der Begrüßungs-und Orientierungstage zu
Beginn des Semesters kennen. Auch im Laufe des
Semesters gibt es viele vom International Center
organisierte Möglichkeiten, sich mit deutschen und
ausländischen Doktoranden zu vernetzen, neue
Bekannte kennenzulernen und sich
auch außerhalb der Arbeit
auszutauschen. Einmal im Monat findet
ein bunter Doktoranden-Stammtisch in
wechselnden Kneipen statt, hinzu
kommen Theater- und Opernbesuche
für alle Doktoranden und ihre Partner,
Exkursionen, Sprachkurse (auch offen
für Familienmitglieder) oder sogar eine
Tour auf dem Uni-eigenen Segelboot.

Bu yüzden üniversitede devamlı olarak artan
uluslararası topluluk birçok sorunun cevabını da
kendiliğinden buluyor; doktora öğrencileri de
buraya gelmeden önce kendi aralarında kontağa
geçiyorlar, karşılıklı bilgi alışverişinde bulunuyorlar,
facebook grupları açıyorlar ve/veya sömestr
başındaki tanıtım haftasında tanışıyorlar.
Uluslararası Merkez, sömestr boyunca da, Alman
ve yabancı doktora öğrencilerini
birbirlerine yakınlaştırmak, yeni insanlar
tanımalarını ve iş hayatı dışında da
alışveriş içinde olmalarını sağlamak için
birçok olanak organize eder. Ayda bir
kez doktora öğrencileri her seferinde
farklı bir barda toplanarak hoş vakit
geçirirler, bazen tiyatro ve operaya gider,
bazen geziler, dil kursları (çoğunlukla
aile bireyleri de dahil) hatta üniversiteye
ait bir yelkenliyle tur düzenlenir. Burada
tekneye severek binilir.
