After launching the tool, you will be presented with the dialog shown in Figure 2.
This interface highlights one of the key 6.1 enhancements to this tool: filter pull-downs.
These filters allow you to input the user’s profile to quickly narrow down your search
to their active connections. Prior to 6.1, you had to sort through a list of all the active
jobs and connections on the system to find the active sessions for an end user. Now,
you can just enter the user profile and hit the Apply button to get a list of jobs for the
specified user.

After applying the filter, you will be presented with the list of active jobs (Figure 3)
for the specified filter criteria. Double-click to select a job and then display the SQL
statement and details for the selected job. It’s that simple to access the SQL statement
text and interface details. From the interface pane on the right, you can see that the SQL
request is currently running.
