A greater difficulty the students have to
face are the strange customs or activities
arranged by natives called teachers that
students are expected to attend: lectures,
seminars, tutorials... There students are
often forced to do things such as write seminar
papers, tests or essays or even give
a lecture. Although this may sound scary,
be sure that many students have already
survived these things without being harmed
too severely. So, be brave, trust your
abilities, don´t let fellow students confuse
you even more than the natives already do
and sooner or later you´ll have successfully
attended as many such customs or activities
as the natives want you to.
Finally, the greatest danger of all is planet
university´s jungle, which natives like
to call “library.” Unfortunately, virtually
no student will be able to avoid going
there, because the previously mentioned

seminar papers usually require the use
of books, which can only be found in the
library. And as if finding these shy creatures
(books like to hide themselves) in the
vast library wasn´t difficult enough, there
are some other especially strange creatures
to be encountered in the library, all
of which may hinder the student´s work.
Some of these are the already mentioned
students turning into natives; they like to
keep books once they have found them, react
aggressively when spoken to and, all in
all, present an annoying superior attitude.
But there are distracters amongst normal
students, too: the cell-phone-in-libraryuser,
the chatterer, the confused wreck
and many more. on the other hand, some
of the strange library creatures are actually
useful, namely the natives who are
sitting around behind desks. Surprisingly,
these natives are indeed of help – usually.
