changes. A quickly growing market
has developed with respect to smart
grids and electric mobility.
Mit moderner Informations- und Kommunikationstechnik
werden die Akteure und
Systeme entlang der Wertschöpfungskette
zur Steuerung, Kostensenkung und
Er höhung der Versorgungssicherheit
vernetzt. Hier präsentiert der Kongress
„Smart Watts – Smart Wheels“ am 29. Juni
im Eurogress Aachen neue Chancen für
agile Produkt- und Serviceanbieter, aber
auch für kommunale Energieversorger und
Forschungsinstitute. Alle Lösungen, die
das Gleichgewicht im Energiesystem stabilisieren
helfen, sind gefragt.
Die BMWi-geförderten Projekte Smart
Watts und Smart Wheels entwickeln beispielhafte,
eng miteinander abgestimmte
Lösungsmodelle für das Internet der Energie
und intelligente Elektromobilität. Die
gemeinsame Grundlage bildet das BMWi-
Leuchtturmprogramm E-Energy.
Ab Ende 2010 erprobt und demonstriert
ein Feldversuch in und um Aachen die
Praxistauglichkeit der Lösung für Energieversorger
und Kunden sowie den energiewirtschaftlichen
Nutzen des Smart Grids

Konzepts. Der Feldversuch ist auch für die
Einbeziehung von Prototypen und Produkten
von Herstellern offen, die bisher noch
nicht im Projekt Smart Watts mitgewirkt

The actors and systems along the value
chain for the control, cost reduction
and increase in security of supply will be
connected with modern information and
communication technology. On 29 June at
the Aachen Eurogress the "Smart Watts –
Smart Wheels" congress will present new
opportunities for clever product and service
providers, as well as for municipal
energy suppliers and research institutes.
All solutions that help stabilize the balance
in the energy system are in demand.
The Smart Watts and Smart Wheels projects,
funded by Germany's BMWi (Federal
Ministry of Economics and Technology),
develop exemplary and closely coordinated
solution models for the Internet of
energy and intelligent electric mobility.
The BMWi’s E-Energy lighthouse program
created the projects' common foundation.
Starting at the end of 2010 a field trial in
and around Aachen will test and demonstrate
the practicality of the solution for
energy suppliers and customers as well as
the energy-efficient benefits of the smart
grid concept. The field trial is open for the
inclusion of prototypes and products from
manufacturers that have not previously
participated in the Smart Watts project. Be
there and take advantage of the practical
results first-hand on 29 June, 2010.
