Grande Maison offenbart. Auf einer Scheibe bei 6 Uhr zeigt
ein fein polierter Mond seine verschiedenen Phasen vor
einem blau lackierten Sternenhimmel an, akzentuiert von
einem himmlischen Wolkenmeer, das ihn trägt. Bei Vollmond
erinnert der runde, glänzende Mond daran, dass der Kreis
zweifelsohne die prägende geometrische Form der Rendez-
Vous Kollektion ist.
Die Balancier Contemporain, eine auf 33 Exemplare limitierte
Weißgold-Edition, zeichnet sich durch eine besonders
kompakte Hülle für das exklusive Unruhsystem von Greubel
Forsey aus.
Die Tonda 1950 Rainbow glänzt mit 36 Edelsteinen im
Baguette-Schliff. Sie wurden nuancengenau ausgewählt
und eingesetzt, um Ton für Ton das gesamte Spektrum des
Regenbogens abzubilden: 21 Saphire in Rosa, Blau, Gelb
und Orange, 3 Rubine, 6 Tsavorite und 6 Amethyste mit
insgesamt 3,73 Karat.
Für die Excalibur One-Off wurde extra ein 385-teiliges
Manufakturwerk RD106SQ mit Handaufzug entwickelt.
Das Einzelstück ist das Resultat einer Kooperation der
Genfer Manufaktur Roger Dubuis mit Lamborghini.

The 29th Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie ended after
a highly successful four days with over 23,000 visitors. Millions of
views across social media, new audiences, fabulous watches and a
packed programme of keynotes and panels were only some of this
year’s highlights. In an ultraconnected world where experience and
innovation count, the Salon’s new formula delivered on all its missions
in making Fine Watchmaking more desirable than ever.
This 29th SIHH also revealed the first trends in Fine Watchmaking
for 2019. Many exceptional timepieces were on display,
perpetual calendars in particular. True collector’s items, that could be
seen in both the historic Maisons as well as inside the Carré des
Horlogers. Colour becomes an integral part of watch design, with
blue and green continuing to gain in popularity. Moon phases and
»métiers d’art« dials also come to the fore. Also noteworthy is the
arrival of new alloys, based on carbon or recycled titanium, mainly
in sport watches. Not forgetting women’s watches, for which new
designs, movements and gem-setting were showcased by many of
the brands.
Among the presented timepieces were the new Rendez-Vous
Moon by Jaeger-LeCoultre, the Balancier Contemporain by
Greubel Forsey, Parmigiani Fleurier’s Tonda 1950 Rainbow
and the one of a kind Excalibur One-Off by Roger Dubuis and
