"LIMIT" – October 10 - 11, 2020
The first edition of the event was such a great success that
everyone looked forward with great anticipation to the
sequel. To add to the excitement, we asked Berlin-based comic
artist Mawil to create a motif image for 2020, using Alex
Chauvel‘s wave image from the previous year as inspiration.
He mastered it beautifully with his illustration of the LCB
Villa floating in the wind amidst waves of comic-book pages,
capturing the autumn mood characteristic of the "24-Hour
Comic at Wannsee" event. An additional save-the-date
postcard with his graphic was sent out, resulting in numerous
new applicants.

Die erste Ausgabe der Veranstaltung war ein so großer
Erfolg, dass alle sich auf die zweite Ausgabe freuten. Um
die Vorfreude zu steigern, baten wir den Berliner Comiczeichner
Mawil, Alex Chauvels Wellenbild aus dem Vorjahr
als Inspiration zu einem Motivbild für das Jahr 2020 zu
nutzen. Mawil hat es wunderbar gemeistert: Auf seinem
Bild werden Comicseiten vom Wind zu einer Welle verweht,
durch die die LCB-Villa zu sehen ist. Die Herbststimmung, die
den »24-Stunden-Comic am Wannsee« prägt, wurde darin
wundergar eingefangen.
