examined. Material to be covered will be discussed at the start and students’ wishes integrated<br />
as widely as possible. As well as those needing high level English for work (journalism, culture,<br />
internet etc.) and those doing various exams (Abitur, first years university) the course is aimed<br />
at all those looking for extra stimulus to already developed language skills.<br />

Englisch B2+ – Upper – Intermediate – Cambridge First Certificate<br />
The First Certificate in English is an upper-intermediate level examination requiring knowledge<br />
of all the language skills and is widely recognised in commerce, industry and educational<br />
institutions as proof of language ability at the upper-intermediate level. The course is designed<br />
primarily for students preparing for the exam. It’s objectives are to cover the different<br />
requirements of the five separate exam papers (Reading comprehension, Composition, Use of<br />
English, Listening comprehension and Interview) in a varied and interesting way and to develop<br />
specific exam techniques. The course is also relevant to participants who have no intention<br />
of taking the exam, but who wish to improve their general communicative competence.Die<br />
Teilnahme am Beratungs- und Einstufungstermin ist obligatorisch.<br />
Voraussetzung ist ein mit „gut” bestandenes ICC-Zertifikat Englisch oder vergleichbare Kenntnisse.<br />
Die Prüfung ist freiwillig.Sie findet weltweit zu den gleichen Bedingungen statt und<br />
