Klüh Service Management erzielte im Geschäftsjahr
2008 zum neunten Mal in Folge einen zweistelligen
Umsatzzuwachs. Darüber hinaus erhöhte sich
die Wachstumsdynamik.
Die Gruppe setzte im letzten Jahr 616,9 Mio. Euro um
– ein Plus von 14,9% Prozent gegenüber 2007. Die
Zahl der Mitarbeiter weltweit wuchs von 35.076 auf
38.694.
Klüh Service Management ist eines der wenigen
international tätigen Dienstleistungsunternehmen
mit Erfahrung in zahlreichen Märkten, das eine
überzeugende Wertschöpfungstiefe zu bieten hat.
Der starke weltweite Trend zum Outsourcing von
Dienstleistungen, die nicht zum Kerngeschäft
gehören, hat die positive Entwicklung der
Klüh-Gruppe letztes Jahr begünstigt.
Ein wichtiger Erfolgsfaktor für die Gruppe ist die im
Jahr 2000 gegründete SMI in London, mit der Klüh
mit den Partnern Mitie Group (GB) und Sin & Stes (F)
einen schlagkräftigen Leistungsverbund für globale
Auftragsübernahmen bildete.
Die Klüh-Gruppe hält in Deutschland eine führende
Marktstellung in Kundensegmenten mit hohem
Wachstumspotenzial und hat sich insbesondere
in Krankenhäusern, Reha-Kliniken und Senioreneinrichtungen
eine starke Position erobert. Handel und
Industrie sowie Flughäfen und Airlines sind weitere
bedeutende Tätigkeitsfelder.
Die Auslandsbeteiligungen trugen letztes Jahr mit
176,1 Mio. Euro zum Gesamtumsatz bei. Spanien
(60,8 Mio. Euro), Griechenland (30,6 Mio. Euro),
Türkei (28,0 Mio. Euro) und die Emirate (25,4 Mio. Euro)
waren die stärksten Auslandsmärkte. Effekte einer
neuen Akquisition in Indien werden erst im Geschäftsjahr
2009 spürbar.

For the ninth time in succession, Klüh Service
Management achieved a two-figure turnover
growth in 2008. In addition, the growth dynamics
also increased.
The group turned over €616.9m last year – 14.9%
percent up on 2007, while the global workforce
increased from 35,076 to 38,694.
Klüh Service Management is one of the few
internationally active service provider companies
with experience in numerous markets that can also
boast a convincing depth of production. The positive
development of the Klüh group benefited last year
from the strong global trend towards the outsourcing
of services that do not belong to a company’s core
business.
An important factor for the group is the London-based
SMI, founded in the year 2000, where Klüh, together
with partners Mitie Group (GB) and Sin & Stes (F), has
formed a powerful system of linked performances for
global order takeovers.
In Germany, the Klüh group holds a leading market
position in customer segments with high growth
potential and has also gained a strong position in
several fields, most notably those of hospitals,
rehabilitation clinics and retirement homes.
Other significant areas of activity include trade and
industry as well as airports and airlines.
The foreign holdings contributed €176.1m to the total
sales turnover last year, whereby the strongest foreign
markets were Spain (€60.8m), Greece (€30.6m),
Turkey (€28.0m) and the United Arab Emirates
(€25.4m). The effects of a new acquisition in India will
not be felt until the 2009 financial year.
