Seit vielen Jahren wächst Klüh Service Management
auch durch Zukäufe im Ausland. Im letzten Jahr
stärkte Klüh den wichtigen Facility Management-
Sektor im deutschen Markt mit der Übernahme
der Union Technik, einem Gebäudetechnik-
Spezialisten mit Internet basierter Service-
Plattform und einem umfassenden Service-Netz.
Der Neuzugang trug bereits mit 25,5 Mio. Euro zum
Gesamtergebnis bei.
Ein Trend im Facility Management weltweit ist der
zur bevorzugten Beauftragung von Unternehmen,
die in der Lage sind, integrierte Services anzubieten.
Diese Entwicklung ist für die Klüh-Gruppe mit ihrer
Expertise in relevanten Tätigkeitsfeldern ein Garant
für weiteres Wachstum.
Im abgelaufenen Geschäftsjahr stellte der
Facility Management-Sektor das größte Wachstumsfeld
dar. Nach 76,2 Mio. Euro im Jahr 2007
stieg der Umsatz 2008 auf 96,4 Mio. Euro, ein Plus
von 26 Prozent. Auf hohem Niveau wuchs der
Catering-Bereich und legte von 91,5 auf 106,8 Mio.
Euro zu (+17 %).
Mit einer Umsatzsteigerung um 8,5 Prozent von
156,5 Mio. Euro auf 169,9 Mio. Euro im umkämpften
Cleaning-Sektor blieben wir auch in diesem wichtigen
Tätigkeitsfeld weiter auf dem Erfolgspfad.
Im Clinic-Sektor wird der Umsatz mit einem Minus
von 5 % abgebildet. Dies ist auf den Verlust zweier
Krankenhaus-Kunden in Spanien zurückzuführen.
Bei den Security Services setzte sich das
beständige Wachstum mit einem Plus von 4,9 Prozent
von 67,7 auf 71,0 Mio. Euro fort. Erfreulich
die Entwicklung bei den Personal Services:
25 Prozent plus - von 35,8 auf 44,9 Mio. Euro.
Die langjährige positive Entwicklung der
Gruppe basiert in hohem Maße auf einem
stützenden Regelwerk aus IT-Systemen,
Zertifizierungen und vielfältigen Qualitäts-
management-Maßnahmen. So gehören etwa zum
Service-Portfolio im Facility Management eine
IT-Infrastruktur, die garantiert, dass Vorgänge
und Prozesse effektiv abgebildet und abgewickelt
werden können sowie ein hoher Grad an

For many years now, Klüh Service Management has
also been growing by way of additional purchases
abroad. Last year, Klüh strengthened the important
Facility Management sector in the German market by
taking over Union Technik, a technical building systems
specialist with an Internet-based service platform
and a comprehensive service network. The new
acquisition has already contributed €25.5m to the
overall result.
A global trend in facility management is the preference
for contracting companies that are able to provide integrated
services. For the Klüh group with its expertise
in relevant fields of activity, this development is a
guarantor for further growth.
The largest growth area in the concluded financial
year was the Facility Management sector. Improving
on the 2007 figure of €76.2m, the sales revenue showed
a 26-percent increase last year, closing at €96.4m.
The Catering sector also returned a high-level growth,
rising from €91.5m to €106.8m (+17%).
With a turnover increase of 8.5 percent, up from
€156.5m to €169.9m, in the strongly contested
Cleaning sector, we are also still plotting a successful
course in this important area of operation.
In the Clinic sector, the turnover dropped by 5%,
which is attributable to the loss of two hospital clients
in Spain.
Steady growth continued with the Security Services
sector, which recorded an increase of 4.9 percent, up
from €67.7m to €71.0m. Personal Services showed
a pleasing development with a 25-percent increase
from €35.8m to €44.m.
The group’s many years of positive development are
largely based on a supportive policy consisting of IT systems,
certifications and various different quality assurance
measures. Thus, for instance, the service portfolio
in Facility Management features an IT infrastructure
that ensures that procedures and processes can be
effectively modelled and performed. The sector is also
extensively automated. Intelligent purchasing systems
provide savings for the customer and offers
transparency, while electronic Timetable Managers
can even trigger training courses.
