‘Jubilee’<br />

‘Strict Weeper’- A heavenly weeping form.<br />

‘Torulosa’- (Hill, 2004).<br />

‘Van Der Aker’- (Hill, 2004).<br />

‘Variegata’- White speckled branches at tip, later changing to blue-green (Krussman,<br />

1985).<br />

Cornus canadensis- A good groundcover dogwood that reaches 6” in height. White flower<br />

similar to the relative tree, but smaller. Later produces a bunch of red berries. Grows in shade.<br />

Cornus nuttallii- Large white spring flowers <strong>and</strong> excellent fall foliage color of reds <strong>and</strong> yellows.<br />

Ethnobotany: Wood was used to make bows, arrows, <strong>and</strong> other tools. Bark used to make darkbrown<br />

dyes <strong>and</strong> medicinal preparations.<br />
