E.2 Datacards
A datacard describes the analysis and contains the settings for all options of a job.
Datacards are ASCII files, located in the analysis directory and can be edited using
a plain text editor. The only object is a list of rules, where each rule specifies an
option for the analysis job, e. g. the input files or the scan granularity.
It is possible to perform more than one job using one datacard. Therefor, an option
can be referred to a specific job adding the job number in brackets to its end, e. g.
analysisContext
’takeMe[3] → {}’ instead of ’takeMe → {}’.
The analysis context specifies the environment of the fit and is used as the name for
each output file. It is a string, where special characters are forbidden, ending with a
“context mark”. A “context mark” in Mathematica is the backquote or grave accent
character (ASCII decimal code 96).
Syntax: analysisContext → ”Contextname`”
Example: analysisContext → ”TestFit`”
theoryPackage
Here, the theory package(s) used in the analysis are specified. For each package,
its context and the version should be specified in a list. Attention: If no version is
specified, the Standard Model version is used. There is also the possibility to set a
list of these lists to load more than one theory package.
Syntax: theoryPackage → { ”package context`” , version → ”version label” }
Example: theoryPackage → { ”LeptonicDecay`” , version → ”SM” }

inputData
This option specifies the input file(s) for the analysis.
Syntax: inputData → ”inputfile”
