The native minerals corresponding to some of these salts or to
some other of the salts of thio-antimonious acids, are :—
i Boulangerite, (SbS3)2Pb3 /f .
Ortho-thioantimonites < Pyrargyrite, (SbS3)Ag3.
( Bournonite, (SbS^^Pb^'Cu''.
Antimony Sulph-haloids.—When the trisulphide is dissolved in
a solution of chloride of antimony, the sulphochloride is formed;
but it has not been possible to isolate it (Schneider). The brown masB
is crystalline and is strongly hygroscopic. The important sulphachlorides
are :—
SbSCl, SbSCl + 7SbCl3, Sb4SeCl2,"SbSCl3, Sb8SnCl2, SbCl5.SbCl4.
The sulphiodide, SbSI, is obtained by fusing the trisulphide and
the tri-iodide together. SbaS3l6 may also be mentioned, SbSBr
oxemplifies the sulphobromides.
